**SERVICE TIMES:  Saturdays:  Worship Service

& Holy Communion at 5:00 p.m.  Sundays:  Adult

Bible Study & Youth Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. and

Holy Communion at 10:45 a.m.  Potluck is the 3rd

Sunday of those months with four Sundays.

During months with five Sundays, Potluck dinner

will be on the 5th Sunday. Witting worship service is

the 4th Sunday of each month at 8:00 a.m.

 

Quilt tacking is the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of this month at 8:30 a.m.  Hope you can make it!

 

POTLUCK this month will be July 20.

 

WE NEED YOUR HELP!  There are spaces available on the sign-up sheets for Ushers, Lectors, Bulletins, Flowers and Altar Guild.  Please sign up.

 

REQUEST FROM TCCM:  There are some persons who appear in our current directory as living with their parents, but who are in their own apt. or home.  Will you please help us update our records and provide their name, mailing address, physical address, phone number, and hopefully e-mail if they have one, name of spouse (some have married), and new children added to the family.   If you have a child attending college, university, or trade school, please provide us with their address and phone numbers as well so we can keep them connected and aware of what is going on back home. 

 

THERE WILL BE NO SATURDAY EVENING WORSHIP SERVICES.  They have been suspended for the summer.  

 

JULY 1ST is the deadline for turning in SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS from Men in Mission.

 

Donation envelopes are available in the Narthex for the special assistance fund set up at Lone Star Bank for Fred McKinney.  Gifts can be submitted at the bank or here at Zion. 

 

Please note the next scheduled meeting for WELCA will be September 2nd.  This year our annual Fall Bazaar will be Friday, October 24, 2008. 

 

Food & monetary donations for the MANNA Food Pantry may be placed in the box located at the entrance of the church.

 

Family Camp at Camp Chrysalis is August 3-7.  See flyer in Narthex for more info.  If you would like to donate a “housewarming” gift for the new cabins at Camp Chrysalis, the Housewarming Gift Guide lists various items they need and is available on the bulletin board for your review!
